Two minutes drive out of Ullapool in the direction of Inverness with the loch on your right. It is the first right, 150 meters after the 'The Braes' turning. The drive is immediately after our blue sign, turn between the two white posts on the grass verge.

When you have turned in at the drive, turn right over the cattle grid, left at the fork and you will see the house at the bottom of the hill.

From Inverness
Tanglewood is a one hour drive from Inverness. Take the A9 north, over the Kessock Bridge as far as the Tore Roundabout and then the A835 signposted to Ullapool. From there it is about 45 minutes over the high moors. You should be wary of deer on the road, particularly at night. As you approach Ullapool the loch is on your left. There are four 40mph speed signs and the entrance to the drive is on the left immediately after the final 40mph sign. You can't see the house from the road, but there's a picture of it on our blue sign.

Public Transport
There are some limited public transport options for getting to Ullapool. Scot Rail run daily trains to Garve. There are buses from Inverness, Dingwall, Garve, Gairloch and the North. These are provided by Stagecoach and Citylink. Taxis are available in the Ullapool area on 01854 612619/612413.
